There's Still Time to Attend Howdy Week

It's back to school time for college students, and apartments near Texas A&M are bustling again. As you begin unpacking and setting up for school to start, don't forget to check out all the fun that surrounds being back on campus.

Welcome to Aggieland, where Texas A&M gets in the back to school groove by welcoming new and returning students with a little something called Howdy Week. This fun-filled event is put on by the University in the days leading up to the beginning of the fall semester. It is a collaboration between the campus and the community designed to help connect Aggies to all that A&M has to offer and to provide valuable information. It's the ultimate way to jump-start your year as an Aggie. Howdy Week runs from Sunday, August 18 to Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Howdy Week allows students to learn more about college life and A&M's campus in particular. Each day offers a series of social and educational events sponsored by different University departments, residence halls, student organizations, and community members.

There are even featured events, which are special signature events of a large-scale that happen each year. These are sponsored by a University department, office, or specially approved student organizations. There are special QR codes involved with these that you can check-in to these events with for a chance to win prizes.

Even though the week is almost over, it's not too late to get in on the action of Howdy Week. Saturday and Sunday have plenty to offer, and we've got the rundown for you on what's on the agenda. Be sure to download the official Texas A&M mobile app to have access to the full Howdy Week schedule, bus routes, maps, and other resources in one place.
