Limited spaces remain for Fall 2020!
This is the perfect time of year to get outside, enjoy nature, and let the stress melt away in the process. Thankfully, you don't have to go far from our apartments in College Station to get away from it all. Here are a few conveniently located trails for your hiking pleasure.
Lick Creek Park has trails ranging from just under half a mile to 1.6 miles, so you know exactly what you're signing up for. Many trails intersect so it's simple to adjust the length of your hike. Trails are overall flat, and great for walking, riding or running. Along the way, you'll find plenty of wildflowers and picturesque tranquility even though it's located under 20 minutes away from our apartments near Texas A&M. This trail is a favorite for bird watchers, and at the trail center, you can borrow a pair of binoculars. With trail info and bathrooms on-site, you'll have everything you need for a day in nature, or even just an hour if that's what you prefer.
If you prefer a longer hike through thicker forest settings, Lake Bryan Trail might be the place for you. This is a wonderful trail if you like a challenge or need plenty of room to run because it's ten miles long. You'll also get some great views of the water, so the relaxation factor is in full swing. This trail has a $5 admission price, but you can stay and fish or explore all day.
Here is a park with the option of recreational fields for a game of football or soccer with friends, as well as rubberized walking/jogging path through the woods. There are exercise machines along the way so you can fit in a full-body workout while you're there. Among the sports fields, there are well-kept tennis courts that are ready for you and your gang to hit a few balls around. There are also BBQ grills, pavilions, and a stocked fishing pond. You will leave here relaxed and stress-free, without a doubt.
We hope you'll go out and enjoy all that College Station has to offer. If you are ready to make it home, contact us today to find out all that we have to offer!
