The Best Crab Cakes Around College Station
Crab cakes are something that a lot of people enjoy but don't often make at home.
If you would like to enjoy this delicious dish, nearby restaurants include:
The Shipwreck Grill
The Shipwreck Grill was born from both a passion for restaurants and a love for the Bryan/College Station area. Owners Wade and Mary Beckman graduated from Texas A.M. University in 1990, and the restaurant offers attentive service and a laid-back atmosphere complete with large windows and plenty of seating. In the kitchen, the chefs create an array of meals including pan-fried crab cakes served with Shipwreck sauce.
When Cafe Eccell opened in 1989, it introduced wood-fired pizzas and a new culinary mentality to Brazos County. Today, it also offers a variety of other meals, and the chefs focus on providing a casual dining experience that is forward thinking when it comes to both food and drinks. The menu includes panko crusted jumbo lump crab cakes served with hollandaise, mixed greens, and grilled peaches.
Christopher's World Grille
After traveling the globe as a private chef on one of the largest yachts, Christopher Lampo came home to Bryan where he opened his own restaurant. It is housed in the 1913 Andrews House and maintains several original features such as the stained glass windows, fireplaces, and oak floors. Christopher's World Grille is the preferred caterer of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Foundation and is known for offering an eclectic menu. Try the Texas spoon drop crab cakes with a field green salad or a bowl of Shiner Bock five onion soup.
