The 2019 Aggie Ring Day is Around the Corner

Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck!

It is that time of year again, to celebrate tradition and honor of what it means to be a Texas A&M Aggie. Here in Aggieland, we celebrate the Aggie Ring Day to the fullest: with a ton of family and friends, photo opportunities at the Alumni Center and memories to last a generation. Every year, Aggies that have earned their 90 credit hours are guaranteed the right to receive the Texas A&M Aggie Ring, which has been a tradition since 1889. Students line up each year outside of the Association of Former Students and wait patiently for their turn to be called inside to receive their rings. Usually a student selects an individual they feel supported them the most throughout their journey and asks for them to put their Aggie Ring on their hand for the first time. This moment is packed with symbolism, love, and pride that each student looks forward to from day one on campus.

What: Aggie Ring Day

When: April 12th and 13th

Where: The Association of Former Students, Clayton W. Williams Jr, Alumni Center

Not only does the Aggie ring symbolize tradition within the University, but also the Aggie network. The ring unites Aggies due to their undying allegiance to each other and the world, their school and their state. Here, receiving your ring is an honor and privilege, and the community is ready to celebrate too. The town will be abuzz with celebrations and family dinners.

Here at our College Station, TX apartments we want to support everyone during their special day and would love to do anything we can to help. Please contact us to let us know how we can serve you, your family and friends during this remarkable occasion.
