Graduation for Texas A&M is Right Around the Corner

Graduation time at Texas A&M is just about here. It's an exciting time for the residents of our apartments in College Station, TX as well as their families and friends. This year the University celebrates the awarding of over 500,000 diplomas since its opening in 1876.

President Michael K. Young wants to congratulate "the Class of 2019 for being part of this historic moment". He also thanks every Aggie that came before, helping to build the foundation that led to the success of the University today.

Milestones to Be Proud Of

The Texas A&M Today goes on to report that the goals of Texas A&M have always been to provide higher education, promote character and excellence in research, teaching, service, and leadership. Perhaps that's why faculty enjoys and commemorates with pride the milestones they have achieved this May. In 2019, over 200 more students are graduating than last Spring.

With 15 ceremonies planned throughout Texas and at their three branch campuses in Doha, Qatar, and Galveston, Texas A&M is giving out more than 10,700 degrees total. This is the highest amount of diplomas for any semester not only in the University's history but for the whole state of Texas, as well. Undergraduate degrees have been earned by 7,860 students. Graduate and professional diplomas come close to 3000. These numbers are a reason to rejoice.
